The hybrid nature of the group is the essential condition for its research, which is nourished by its members' stories and experiences, creating interferences, stimulating vitality and dynamism.

Vulnerability, rather than being avoided, is embraced as the essence of the work- an unabashed search for, simply, what it means to be alive today.

We look for forms in movement, the constant possibility of being surprised, in order to react using an unfamiliar language, always placing the body at the center of our research.

We are in a continual dialogue with the audience: how can we cultivate the relationship between performer and public in order to have the sense of a Me and a You?
How can we reduce that distance?
IfHuman investigates the space between You and Me.

IfHuman's first and defining project is Fear and Desire: onstage, ten actors dance for the first time (premiere at Equilibrio Festival, Auditorium Rome, 2013).

Since October 2013 the collective are associate artists at
Les Halles de Schaerbeek in Brussels.
